Feature Requests

I would like to be able to assign permissions beyond the default "Brigade User" permissions to Member Groups, instead of needing to assign them to individual members. I would also like the option to turn off the ability to set per-user permissions, and only have user permissions assigned via groups. This would greatly reduce the overhead of managing Role-based Access Control (RBAC) in our brigade, and also reduce the chance for unintended changes to a members access.

It would be great to be able to record and manage rewards at a brigade level (i.e. Fire fighter of the year).

Change the age category dropdown to a 'Member Type' dropdown and add additional options. The membership type would work alongside the Operation Member checkbox as needed. Suggested dropdown options to include: Junior - A member aged 15 or less. This member type would restrict the Operational Member checkbox from being selected. Cadet / Minor (Whichever CFA's current terminology is) - A General Member that is aged 16 or 17. This membership type can have the operational member checkbox applied as required. General - A General Member the is aged 18 or over. This membership type can have the operational member checkbox applied as required. Prospective - For brigades that require a minimum attendance prior to progressing new memberships. Adding them as 'Prospective' would allow them to check in to events and have their attendance tracked for this to be reviewed. Possible extras: Brigade Life Member - This membership type can have the operational member checkbox applied as required. CFA Life Member - This membership type can have the operational member checkbox applied as required.

Allow units to build custom inductions for equipment, vehicles, infrastructure etc. and maintain a register of members inducted against each item. Inductions may require refreshers in which case actions should be raised to flag members who require the refresher.

Create an electronic voting system that meets the requirements of electronic voting under the CFA Regulations 2025. Voting engine shall support brigade elections and private motions with adequate auditing while maintaining anonymity.
