The current permission "View Training Records" controls access to both viewing/attending training sessions as well the ability to view driving logs for all vehicles and all users.
It would be ideal to separate these into two permissions:
  • Allow the basic ability to view and mark that you will attend a training session
  • Allow ability to see only your own driving logs (I do not believe that a normal "brigade user" should be able to view all driving logs for all members and vehicles).
With the current "Brigade User" permissions, it does not seem possible to view a scheduled training session and mark that you will attend it.
